Thu 23rd
Jacob’s birthday. Started the day with presents. Travelled through Camooweal, Barkley Homestead and Cape Crawford. We planned to camp at the October Creek rest area however it was full of caravans so we back tracked a short distance to the creek where we had seen a track veer off near the bridge to the creek bank and camped there. We finished the day with birthday cake.
Fri 24th
Before heading off today Graham replaced a wheel bearing on the camper and adjusted the other side (a job he didn’t get done before we left). We arrived at Daly Waters pub around lunch time so had a feed of fish and chips and a cold beverage. We made it to Katherine mid afternoon.
