Lions Den Hotel to Musgrave Roadhouse

First stop this morning was Black Mountain on the way to Cooktown. At Cooktown we had a look around, fueled up and picked up a few fishing supplies. Lorna also got a toy crocodile for Jacob but he seems a bit scared of it! Traveled along Battlecamp Road stopping for a look at Isabella Falls then onto Old Laura Homestead where Michael did a little modification to the Nissan in the form of removing the dust shield from the rear brakes after coming loose. After lunch we hit the gravel again stopping at Musgrave Roadhouse where we camped beside a couple from Victoria (Geoff & Erika) we had seen camped at Lions Den. After chatting with them we invited them to tag along with us so our convoy of three instantly became a convoy of four.
