Stayed in Cairns today to do repairs and shopping. We were having trouble hearing the others over the UHF so decided to upgrade to a new one. Got served by an extremely helpful guy at Autobarn who when they didn’t have the aerial we wanted actually phoned TJM for us to see if they stocked it.  You don’t get service like that very often these days.  We also decided to invest in a set of Max Tracks as we’ve been thinking about getting some forever.  We have my brother Bretts Max Tracks with us and now ours so we should be right.  We also picked up a new exhaust gasket, got the keys cut and grabbed a few groceries.  Back to the caravan park, Graham went off to install his new UHF.  Meanwhile Michael was replacing some wheel studs on the Patrol.  Jules, Jacob and I went for a walk to a nearby shopping centre then down to the Cheescake Shop to pick up some desert.  Raining again tonight so decided to give the Creb track a miss especially since we are towing a trailer and everything you read on the Creb track says NO TRAILERS.
