It is the day before we leave.  As usual most of the packing has been left until today.  My excuse will be baby Jacob.  Graham is still working through his list of necessary repairs/modifications and wish list modifications.   I don’t feel bad about the last minute rush really as one of our co travelers, Michael & Jules are also running behind having a few unforeseen hiccups with their new fridge slide and winch.  They got to our place on Sunday night and had there first ‘challenge’ about 1.5km from our place when they nearly lost a wheel due to a couple of snapped wheel studs.

Monday morning saw Michael flying into Dalby for some parts (approx 57km round trip).  Mean while Graham still hasn’t been to bed from the night before!  Our other co travelers, John & Lorna arrived at our place a lot earlier than expected and as Graham & Michael had just worked out that the standard nuts that came with the wheel studs don’t fit mag wheels Michael went for another flying trip to Dalby for more parts and John & Lorna got a head start on the trip.
